Department ofCommerce and Economic Opportunity intends to conduct an economic impact

study oftheproposed rules in the above-referenced docket.

The Department has reviewed the amendments to the Illinois Dissolved Oxygen Standard

Adm, Code 3 02.206) that have been proposed by the Illinois Association ofWastewater

Agencies. Based on this review, and in light ofcontinued fiscal constraints, the Department has

decided not to conduct a study ofthe economic impact ofthe proposed rules, pursuant to 415

ILCS

5/27(b).
