    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On June 22, 2004, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer. As last reported, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency had determined
    that respondent is able to pay the penalty amount proposed by complainant for settlement.
    Respondent’s attorney is discussing with respondent the possibility of a counter-proposal.
     
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 9:30 a.m. on July 22, 2004. The status conference shall be initiated by the
    complainant. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the
    above-captioned matter.
