    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
     
    On June 15, 2004, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer. Petitioner’s consultant continues to work with respondent’s project manager.
    As an alternative to pursuing the procedures for a revised permit, the parties are looking into
    whether the site clean-up performed in accordance with federal policy will eliminate the need for
    this permit appeal.
      
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 11:00 a.m. on August 31, 2004. The telephone status conference will be initiated by
    the petitioner. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the
    above-captioned matter.
     
    The petitioner has filed an open waiver of the decision deadline in this matter.
