HEARING OFFICER ORDER
A telephonic status conference was scheduled for May 25, 2004. The respondent did not
appear. The petitioner represented that the respondent is reviewing the appeal and will discuss
with the petitioner the possibility of a settlement. The petitioner represented that it will file a 40-
day waiver of the statutory decision deadline. The respondent’s attorney is reminded to file its
appearance.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on June 2, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the petitioner, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
