    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On April 26, 2004, petitioners participated in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer. Respondent did not appear. Respondent’s attorney is again reminded to file an
    appearance in this matter, as neither petitioners nor the hearing officer know who to contact for
    telephone status conferences. Petitioners report that the Office of the Attorney General may send
    a proposed consent decree this week, although petitioners do not yet know the terms, or whether
    the proposed consent decree would eliminate the need for this permit appeal.
     
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 11:30 a.m. on June 29, 2004. The status conference shall be initiated by the petitioners.
    At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned
    matter.
     
    Petitioners have filed an open waiver of the statutory decision deadline in this matter.
