HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On April 22, 2004, a telephonic status conference was held. Respondent did not appear.
The complainant informed the hearing officer that the above-captioned matter is nearly resolved
and that a draft stipulation and proposal for settlement (stipulation) has been forwarded to the
respondent for review and signatures. Complainant requested that respondent be given an
extension of time to file its answer. Complainant’s request is granted. Respondent’s answer is
now due on or before July 30, 2004.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on July 15, 2004, at 9:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
before the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
