Thank you very much for your February 17, 2004 letter requesting a determination as to whether
the Department ofCommerce and Economic Opportunity (“Department”) intends to conduct an
economic impact study ofthe proposed rules in the above-referenced docket.
The Department has reviewed the propos.ed revisions to the Illinois Radium Water

Based on this review,
and in light ofcontinued fiscal constraints, the Department has decided not to conduct a study of
the economic impact ofthe proposed rules, pursuant to
