HEARING
OFFICER ORDER
On January 8,
2004, all parties participated in
a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer.
The parties represented that a settlement document is being circulated
for review
and signatures and requested that an extension oftime be granted for the filing oftheir respective
answers to The City of Chicago (City) complaint.
The respondents further requested that
all
responses to pending discovery be extended as well.
The City had no objection.
The
respondents’ request is granted.
Respondents’ answers
and responses to pending discovery is
extended and are due on or before February 27,
2004.
The parties are directed to
participate in
a telephonic status conference with the hearing
officer on February 26, 2004, at
11:00 a.m.
The telephonic status conference must be initiated by
the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its own appearance.
At the status
conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and
their readiness for hearing.
If, however, motions to dismiss are filed by the respective

complainants prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled
without
further
order.
