ORDER OF THE BOARD (by J. Yi):
On October 22, 1997, Raymond S. Hara (petitioner) filed a petition for review of a
September 17, 1997, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) final reimbursement
determination. The Board docketed the petition as PCB 98-62. The petition was based on two
final determination letters issued by the Agency. Each letter contains the Agency
determination covering a different invoicing time period for the same site. On November 5,
1997, the Agency filed a “Motion to Assign New and Additional Docket Number.” The
Board granted the Agency's motion, and opened new docket PCB 98-67 on November 6,
    1997.
The consolidation of PCB 98-62 and PCB 98-67 would conserve the resources of both
parties, further the Board's interest in judicial economy, and result in an expeditious and
convenient determination of each matter. The Board cannot find any material prejudice that
would result as a consequence of consolidating these two matters. Accordingly, the Board, on
its own motion, consolidates these cases.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
    Board Member K.M. Hennessey abstained.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that
the above order was adopted on the 4th day of December 1997, by a vote of 5-0.
    Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
    Illinois Pollution Control Board
