    -Serves as the principal multi—media emergency response
    specialist for the Office of Chemical Safety/Emergency Response
    Unit (ERU) headquartered in Springfield. This 24 hour a day
    non_callu position focuses primarily within the metro—east
    collar county area; however, responses are conducted throughout
    southern Illinois. Response actions Include the investigation
    ~
    spills of hazardous materials/substances, as ~11 as the
    mitigation of such spills with emphasis on public health and
    safety.
