In response to questions posed by the Board concerning at the May 8, 2003 hearing in this
matter, the Illinois EPA is
submitting this ERRATA SHEET NUMBER

to amend its NOTICE OF
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS submitted on April 4, 2003.
The amendments to the current proposal
are reflected with underlining.

Effective December 8, 2003, the Agency may issue a construction or operating permit to a public
water
supply that exceeds the maximum contaminant level (MCL) for the combined radium standard(radium-
226
and radiuni-228) of

pCi/L, the gross
alphaparticle activity of 15 pCi/L, or the MCLfor uranium of
30 rg/L of

611.330, provided that the supply has entered into a Compliance
Commitment Agreement (CCA) executed pursuant to Section
31 of the Act or an enforceable court order
for compliance withthe combined radiuni~
