v.
 )
 ~
72—56
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY
Opinion and Order of the Board
 (by Mr.
 Currie)
This variance petition seeks relief until July
 31,
 1972,
when
a privately owned water supply system is to be tied
 into
a municipal system in New Lennox, Will County.
 The basis
 for
the request
 is
 to avoid duplication of expenditures.
 The motive
is worthy,
but we cannot tell what the regulation
 is from which
a variance is sought or what harm the public may suffer
 in the
interim if the variance
 is granted.
 The petition
 is inadequate
under our procedural rules
and does not allege facts sufficient
if proved to justify the grant of
 a variance.
 It is hereby
dismissed without prejudice
 to the filing of
 a more complete
petition.
I, Christan Moffett, Clerk
 of the Pollution Control Board,
certify th,~t the Board adopted the above Opinion and. Order
