PCB 71—255
CRANE FULVIEW GLASS DOOR COMPANY
Further Opinion and Order of the Board
(by Mr. Dumelle)
We decided the instant case on December
9,
1971
and adopted
an order
at that time which required
the respondent to eliminate
all open burning practices,
rectify
a faulty drainage interconnec-
tion which had been causing water pollution and to pay to the
State of Illinois a money penalty in the total amount of Eleven
Hundred Dollars
($1100.00).
By letter of December 15,
1971, Mr.
Harold E.
Crane, President of the respondent company has asked us
to reconsider and rescind the money penalties assessed against
Crane.
No reason has been shown why the money penalty provision
of
the order should not be enforced and we therefore decline to
rescind the order.
I, Christan L. Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify the Board adopted the above Fu ther Opinion
and Order on the
/ 7
day of January by
a vote of
