On November 11, 1971, we entered an Order in the above-captioned
matter directing Respondent t~. cease and desist open burnine and the
conduct of a salvage oceration by open burning, and assessed a penalty
in the amount of $3,000.00 for violation of the Environmental Protec-
tion Act, Section 9(c), and Section 2—1.1 and 2—1.2 of the Rules and
Regulations Governing the Control of Air Pollution.
On December 17, 1971, Respondent moved that the November 11,
1971 Order be stayed, pending direct review in the Apeellate Court.

stay the portion of our
Order assessing th pe~lty, on condition that a bond to secure pay-
ment thereof in event of an adverse judicial decision is tiled with
the Environmental Protection Agency within 15 days after receipt
of this Order. In all other respects the motion for stay is denied.
