CITY OF SILVIS
Supplementary Order:
Our October
18 order requested further information
from the parties regarding the pros and cons of possible
regionalization
of sewage treatment including the City of Silvis.
The
City
has responded by affirming its earlier position that
the disadvantage
are too great;
we have not yet heard from the
Agency..
Resolution of this important issue requires
input
from additional
parties
not here represented:
the Village
of Carbon Cliffs,
the City of East Moline,
and the Bi—State
Planning Commission.
We hereby make those entities parties
and
direct
that
they submit written position statements
on
the
issue
of regional sewage treatment
for
the area within
thirty
days.
A further hearing
is hereby authorized
to be held
after
expiration
of that period
in order to allow for
an
exchange of views.
