Preliminary Order of the Board
(by Mr. Currie):
This petition seeks permission to connect 180 planned
housing units to sewers tributary to the North Chicago sew-
age treatment plant of the North Shore Sanitary District.
Allegations are made as to actions taken and to be taken by
the District to improve the plant~scapacity and make room
for additional connections.
We believe that
in order to
assure an equitable allocation of any new capacity so created
the presence of the District as
a party is necessary.
We
therefore join the District as
a party and invite it to sub-
mit a petition of its own seeking permission to allow
additional connections on the basis of plant improvements.
