OPINION

OF

THE BOARD

Estella

Lewis has applied for a

variance

from the sewer connec-

tion ban in the North

Shore Sanitary District. She asks

for permission

to connect a

new single family home to the District~ssewer

system.

The request for variance does not have the information needed

for the Board to

make

a

aecision and we therefore request the parties

to submit

the

following:

1.

Mrs.

Lewis or the Agency should advise the Board which

of

the District~s plants would receive the effluent

from

the Lewis home;

2.

the Agency should advise the Board whether the sewer

line which would receive the effluent is overloaded;

and

3.

the Agency should file its recommendation with the

Board.

The parties should respond

to the Board~s request within twenty

days

of date of receipt of this

order.
