is

a petition for variance to

allow sewer

connections

from a new 36-

unit apartment

building.

The

petition

alleges

that the

Environmental

Protection

Agency has announced that ft will not

issue

sewer

connection permfts

for any

additional projects

In the City of SprIngfield.

It is

unclear from

the petition,

however,

as to whether ft is

Inadequate

sewers or inadequate treatment

facilities

which underlies

the ban.

We will allow the petitioner

five

days from receipt

of this

order

In which to

clarity the ambiguity.

The

clarification

may be

submitted to the Board as

an

addendum to the original petition.
