AGENCY
ORDER
A
petition for variance has been filed by the above petition-
ers with respect to the Board’s
“Rules and Regulations as to the Use
of Sewers and Waters” in respect to certain specified area in the
Village of Carpentersville, Kane County,
Illinois.
Petitioners propose the construction of a thirty—bed nursing
home.
It is difficult to tell from the petition precisely what
is
sought by the variance or what order or ruling prevents petitioners
from proceeding.
The petition seeks
a variance of the Rules and
Regulations to allow the discharge of 9,600 gallons of waste water,
sewage and wash water into the Village of Carpentersville’s sewage
system during an unspecified period and to connect to the sewage
system of Carpentersville.
If a sewer permit has been denied or
a
sewer connection ban has been imposed, we should be so advised.
Hearing is directed to be held on the petition.
Petitioner
shall submit to the Board, within ten days from the receipt of this
order, detailed information as
to precisely what order or regulation
the variance petition relates to and why such
a variance is needed.
The statutory ninety-day period for the rendition of
a variance order
shall commence upon the Board’s receipt of the foregoing information.
