Supplemental Order

of the Board

(by Mr. Currie):

These three petitions seek extensions

of the sewage

treatment deadlines set by the Sanitary Water Board.

We have

recently altered those regulations, adopting

a December 1973

deadline for treatment beyond secondary.

The petitions here

were evidently drafted before that enactment

(*R 71-14, March

7,

1972).

We therefore asked

the parties to reconsider their

petitions in light of the changed regulations,

and,

if variances

were still deemed necessary,

to submit amended petitions

within 20 days in accordance with

the

new regulations.

Since

we did not hear

from the petitioners within that time, we

must assume their requests have become moot,

and we therefore

dismiss them without prejudice.
