Opinion & Order of the Board (by Mr. Currie)
Wells!s petition for a one-year variance to develop
an alternative to open burning of sawmill wastes was filed
November 11, 1971. A hearing was authorized but proceed-
ings were suspended when the petitioner informed us he was
considering closing his business and withdrawing his petition.
He waived the requirement that we act within 90 days. This
was in January, 1972. Since then weIi~vereceived no further
indication that Wells wishes either to proceed or to with-
draw. The petition is hereby dismissed for want of prose-
cution, without prejudice.
I, Christan Moffett, Clerk of the Pollution Control Board,
certify that the Board adopted th~above Opinion & Order
