#72—222
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY
)
Opinion & Order of the Board
(by Mr. Currie):
This petition asked until the end of July,
1972 for dis-
infection of the effluent from a meat packing lagoon.
The
Agency’s recommendation having raised serious doubts as to the
underlying facts upon which the petition was based in regard to
possible diversion of the waste for municipal treatment,
we allow-
ed until August
1 for submission of additional information or
a revised petition.
August
1 has
passed without further word
from the petitioner~the petition requested
a variance only
until
the end of July and is therefore dismissed as moot.
Moreover,
it does not allege facts sufficient to comply with
our procedural rules.
I, Christan Moffett, Clerk of the Pollution Control Board, ~ertify
that the Board adopted the above Opinion & Order this
