    Sandwich petitioned
    for
    a variance,
    seeking an extension of
    tirneon which
    to meet
    the July,
    1972 deadline
    (PCB Regs.,
    Ch.

    Rule
    405)
    for compliance with the effluent
    standard for
    fecal
    coliforins
    in municipal
    sewage.
    We requested additional
    information
    as
    to the costs that
    interim disinfection would
    entail.

    In reply
    the City informs us that
    it “has already installed
    temporary chlorination facilities
    and,
    therefore,
    variance
    proceedings will not be necessary.”
    Since the City no longer
    requests
    a variance,
    the
    petition
    is hereby dismissed
    as
    moot.
