a variance

to allow open burning of trees

and related landscape rubbish.

The petition does not allege

what attempts,

if

any, have been made to obtain

a permit to

burn

this material

in

a manner or place authorized by our open

burning regulations, or

as to why it is deemed too costly to

comply with requirements of those regulations,

as for example

by using an air-curtain destructor~

We shall hold the petition

for 20 days to permit the Village to supplement

its petition

with additional information.

As it stands we could not grant

the requested variance even

if

all the

facts alleged were

proved.
