ORDER

Nelson & Bollen Feed Mill, Inc. wrote a letter to the

Environmental Protection Agency, Division of Air Pollution

Control regarding an operating permit. The Agency forwarded

the letter to the Clerk of the Pollution Control Board for

docketing as a variance request. The document is not adequate

as a variance petition since it does not contain the type of

information required for such pleading. Nelson & Bollen

Feed Mill, Inc. state that no variance petition is intended

and request that their letter not be considered a variance

petition. The letter was simply a request for information.

It is ordered that the above captioned matter be dismissed

without prejudice.

I, Christan L. Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control

Board, hereby certify the above Order was adopted this 26th
