ORDER OF THE BOARD (by T.E. Johnson):
On March 6, 2003, the counsel for Henry Pratt Company timely filed a notice to extend
the 35-day period within which Henry Pratt Company (Henry Pratt) may appeal a February 3,
2003 determination of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency). Accompanying
the notice was an affidavit of counsel for Henry Pratt stating that Henry Pratt received a copy of
the Agency’s February 3, 2003 denial on March 5, 2003, that counsel for Henry Pratt discussed
the denial with counsel for the Agency on February 27, 2003, and that counsel for the Agency
agreed during that conversation to join Henry Pratt in a notice to extend time.

Pratt’s application for an air permit regarding Henry Pratt’s water valve manufacturing facility at
401 Highland Avenue, Aurora, Kendall County.
The Board extends the appeal period until June 8, 2003.
