ORDER OF THE BOARD (by J. Theodore Meyer):
On May 30, 1997, The Knapheide Mfg. Company filed a petition for extension of prior
variance for its temporary facility in Quincy, Illinois. On June 27, 1997, the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) filed its appearance as well as a motion for
extension of time to file its recommendation. The Agency states that an inspection of the
facility in question is necessary before a recommendation can be determined, and that such an
inspection could not be completed until June 25, 1997. The Agency further stated that the
person assigned to direct the Agency’s efforts in this matter was hospitalized during part of the
30-day time period for filing the Agency recommendation and has not completed a review of
the variance petition. The Agency therefore requests until July 30, 1997, in which to file its
    recommendation.
The Board grants the motion; the Agency is directed to file its recommendation on or
    before July 30, 1997.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that
the above order was adopted on the 10
    th
day of July 1997, by a vote of 6-0.
    Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
    Illinois Pollution Control Board
