    This
    is
    a short
    letter petition to use
    1t325
    to
    350 pounds of
    copper sulfateu in the Ashley water supply.
    The petition was
    received by the Board on April
    19,
    1973.
    The petition
    is wholly inadequate.
    No frequency of dosage
    is given;
    no resulting concentration of copper in the water is
    given; no statement is made as
    to whether fish exist in the
    reservoir and no reasons are given why alternatives
    such
    as
    biodegradable algicides cannot be used.
    Petitioner is given
    35 days from today
    to
    file an amended
    petition setting forth
    the facts needed as described above.
    With
    the amended petition shall be filed
    a waiver of the 90 day period
    in which
    a decision is
    due until said filing.
    The Agency is asked to provide
    the petitioner with previous
    Board opinions
    on this subject
    as
    a guide to the information desired
    (City of LaHarpe,
    et al, PCB 72-168, August
    8,
    1972 and City of
    Paris, et al, PCB
    72-277, August
    15,
    1972).
    Unless an amended petition is timely filed the present petition
    will be dismissed as inadequate.
