Petitioner seeks variance from our sewer ban order entered in
case entitled League of Women Voters
v.
North Shore Sanitary District,

13 and 14,

(March 31, 1971),
to connect a service
station to facilities
in Lake Forest.
We do not have sufficient information on which to evaluate
the petition filed and direct Respondent to file with the Board,
within 15 days from the date hereof, a detailed description of what
facilities
it seeks
to connect with, what the character and extent
of its pollutional discharge will be, what elements of hardship,
if
any,
justify
a variance of our Order and what alternative methods
have
been
considered
and
their
cost.
Such
further
submissions
shall
be
accompanied
by
a
waiver
of
the
provision
requiring
that
the
Board render its decision within 90 days of
the filing of the original
petition for variance.
