Regulations

to permit copper levels

in excess of 0.02 mg/l subject

to the following conditions;

1.

Treatment with copper sulfate shall be limited

to one per month for the months of May through

and including September,

1973.

2.

Dosage with copper sulfate shall not exceed

600

lbs.

and

520

lbs. per treatment for the

North and South Reservoirs

respectively.

3.

Copper concentrations

at the raw water

intake to

the water treatment plant shall never exceed 1.0 mg/i.

4.

Copper concentrations

in the reservoirs

shall be

measured immediately prior

to and after each copper

sulfate treatment and the results submitted to the

Agency on

a monthly basis.
