INTERIM ORDER OF THE BOARD (by Mr. Dumelle):
Petition dated May 15, 1973 and filed May 17, 1973 with the
Board is inadequate because the resulting copper dosage in the
drinking water is not given and because the alternative
of using
biodegradable algicides
is not considered.
We also do not know
if this
is
a flow-through reservoir and if copper applications
affect aquatic life downstream.
Petitioner
is ordered to file within
30 days
an amended
petition setting
forth additional information needed for
a decision.
A waiver of the right to
a decision within 90 days for the
30 day
period shall also be filed.
Failure to file shall make the petition
liable
to dismissal on grounds of inadequacy.
It
is the Board’s intention to decide
this proceeding without
a
hearing.
IT
IS SO ORDERED.
