ORDER OF THE BOARD (by R.C. Flemal):
On May 15, 1997 the Board set the five underground storage tank (UST)
reimbursement appeals captioned above for hearing. All of the appeals relate to a final
reimbursement decision issued by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) on
February 11, 1997, and all concern the same site located at 503 South State Street, Jerseyville,
    Jersey County, Illinois.
On May 20, 1997 the Agency filed a motion for extension of time to file the Agency
record in the five appeals. Pursuant to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 105.102(a)(4), the Agency record
of each permit application is to be filed with the Board within 14 days of the notice of the
petitions. The Board will grant the Agency’s request for additional time to file the Agency
records. The Agency record in all of the five UST appeals is now due 30 days before hearing.
Furthermore, pursuant to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 103.141, in the interest of a convenient,
expeditious, and complete determination of claims, the Board on its own motion hereby
consolidates these UST appeals for the purposes of hearing. If appropriate at a later date, the
Board may also consolidate these appeals for purposes of decision. As a result of this action,
the Board hereby vacates the June 2, 1997 hearing officer order.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.

    2
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that
the above order was adopted on the 5th day of June, 1997, by a vote of 7-0.
