    (Rulemaking - Site Specific)
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by R.C. Flemal):
This matter is before the Board on a petition for site-specific relief filed on April 24, 1997 by
Mobil Oil Corporation (Mobil). The petition is accompanied by two motions, which the Board
    addresses here.
In the first motion, Mobil requests that the Board waive the provision that a site-specific
petition be supported by 200 signatures, as found at 415 ILCS 5/28(a) (1994) and the Board’s
procedural rules at 35 Ill. Adm. Code 102.141(c) citing 102.121(h). The Board hereby grants the
motion to waive the 200-signature requirement.
In the second motion, Mobil requests that the Board waive the requirement that the petition
be accompanied by nine copies of all exhibits, as found 35 Ill. Adm. Code 102.140. The Board
recognizes the voluminous nature of the exhibits. Nevertheless, the Board requires more that two
    (2) copies of each exhibit for its deliberations. Therefore, the Board will allow Mobil to file only four
    (4) copies of the exhibits in this matter.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
    Board Member Kathleen M.
    Hennessey abstains.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that the
above order was adopted on the 15th day of May, 1997, by a vote of 5-0.
    Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
    Illinois Pollution Control Board
