ORDER OF TUE BOARD (by Mr. Dumelle):
Petition filed February 21, 1974 is inadequate in that it
does not give the cost nor time involved in installing controls
for the 7.0 lbs. of particulates per million Btu’s which will be
emitted when wood is burned. No showing is made that gas cannot
be obtained. Since the petitioner wishes to burn its wood wastes
in lieu of gas then the Board must know the costs of compliance
and the compliance program to meet the air emission regulations.
Petitioner is ordered to file the above listed information
within 45 days from the date of this order. The 90-day decision
period shall run from the date of filing the amended petition.
Failure to timely file the information requested shall render
the petition liable to dismissal for inadequacy.
