ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
February
 28,
 1974
ALTON BOX BOARD COMPANY,
Petitioner,
v.
 )
 PCB 74—5
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY,
Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD
 (by Mr. Henss)
Petitioner
 is operating
 its plant under the terms
 of
 a
variance which will expire April
 6,
 1974.
 The variance which
was first
granted in PCB 73—140 contemplates extension from
time to time while
 a control program is installed.
 The
 extension
of variance depends on the evidence adduced at
each such request.
Alton Box filed a petition for variance extension on
January
 2,
 1974.
The Agency objected to the variance extension
and requested
 a hearing.
 The hearing was ordered.
Petitioner
now requests an interim variance until June 20,
1974
in order to determine the issues and present a full record.
We
have not been furnished with proof
 that our hearing schedule
cannot be
 met
 and
 will
 therefore
 deny
 the
 motion
 for
 interim
variance and require that the parties proceed to hearing as
scheduled.
Motion for interim variance is denied.
I,
 Christan
 L.
 Moffett,
 Clerk
 of
 the
 Illinois
 Pollution
 Control
Board,
