ORDER OF THE BOARD (by Mr. Dumelle):
Petition filed July 17, 1974 is inadequate in that it
does not state whether Carthage Lake is a public water supply.
Petitioner shall amend the petition within 45 days from the
date of this order and so state. The expected concentration
of Rotenone in the finished drinking water supplied to customers
shall be given together with a statement as to its harmful levels,
if any, when ingested.
If Carthage Lake is not a public water supply, then, the con-
centration of Rotenone expected downstream of the Lake and its
effects shall be stated.
The 90-day period set by statute for decision shall run
from the date of filing of the amended petition. Failure to
timely file the needed information shall make the petition
liable to dismissal for inadequacy.
