    Petition for Variance,
    filed November

    1974, by the North Shore
    Sanitary District, requesting relief from Water Pollution Control Reg-
    ulations between October
    1,
    1975, through November 1,
    1976, in order
    to complete its Gurnee Water Treatment Plant
    is inadequate in that
    the Petition contains no statements of the following:
    1)
    No specific identification of the provisions
    of the Environ-
    mental Protection Act or Regulations from which variance is
    sought;
    2)
    The quality of the influent and proposed effluent from the
    proposed plant;
    3)
    An estimate of the quantity and type. of contaminants that
    will be discharged from the plant;
    4)
    A detailed discussion as to why the plant will not meet water
    quality and effluent standards;
    5)
    A specific time schedule for completion
    of the plant;
    6)
    A statement as
    to the environmental impact that the dis-
    charges will have on the Des Plaines River.
    Petitioner shall file an Amended Petition in this matter within
    35
    days of the entry of this Order or suffer a dismissal as inadequate.
