    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by Mr. Henss):
    It
    is the Order of the Pollution Control Board that
    National By-Products,
    Inc. be granted variance from Rule 802(b)
    of the Air Pollution Control Regulations for its Decatur
    rendering plant from August 15,
    1974 until June 15,
    1975.
    Variance from Section
    9(a)
    of the Environmental Protection
    Act is hereby denied.
    This variance is subject
    to
    the following
    conditions:
    1.
    National By—Products shall conduct its operations
    so as not to process in excess of 1,350,000
    lbs.
    of raw material per week.
    2.
    National By—Products shall insure that
    a complete
    cover
    is maintained over lagoons A and
    B.
    3.
    All possible efforts shall be made to process
    all
    fallen animals within
    4 ~toursafter receipt.
    4.
    All good housekeeping practices shall continue for
    the duration of the variance.
    5.
    All delivery trucks shall be routed over the
    alternate road through the landfill.
    6.
    National By-Products shall post a $lO,rOO bond for
    the duration of the variance in
    a form acceptable
    to the Environmental Protection Agency.
    Upon order
    of this Board the bond shall be forfeited in the
    event that National fails to comply with any of the
    conditions herein.
    The bond shall be mailed to:

    Illinois EPA,

    Churchill Road, Springfield,
    Illinois 62706.
