ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr.
Henss):
Petitioner
filed
a Variance Petition on June
24,
1975
requesting one year variance for the emission of particulate
matter and sulfur dioxide from boilers at the Central Park
Avenue Pumping Station located in Chicago.

(U.

Under that decision this Board can grant
individual variances beyond July 31,
1975 if the variances
do not interfere with the attainment and subsequent maintenance
of national ambient air quality standards.
The additional
information to be filed by Petitioner shall address that issue
and shall include information regarding the quality of the
ambient air which
is affected by Petitioner~semissions along
with such information as may be available indicating whether
the qrant of the variance will interfere with attainment and
maintenance of national ambient air quality standards.
Petitioner
is allowed 40 days from the date of this Order for
the filing of such information.
The hearing on this petition
shall not be conducted until at least 20 days after the filing
of the additional information.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
