1975, the Associated Milk Dealers,
Inc.
and The Soap &nd Detergent Association filed with the Illinois
Pollution Control Board
(Board)
a Motion To Cancel Hearings
presently set for July
30 and August
6,
1975 on proposed
changes to Rule 408(a)
of the Board’s Water Pollution Regu-
lations.
The pioponents alleged that necessary test data
were not comp1ete’~1and ready for presentation at hearing.
The proponents r?~iuestedthat the matter be reset for a new
date not less than. six weeks from the time presently set.
The unverified Motion stated that the Illinois Environmental
Protection Agency did not object to the requested continuance.
The Metropolitan Sanitary District was also not opposed to the
postponement of hearings.
We grant the Motion To Cancel Hearings.
Hearings
will be resche~tu1edin the near future when the proper pre-
paration of the evidence has been completed.
