INTERIM ORDER OF THE BOARD

(by Mr. Goodman):

Pursuant to the May

8,

1975,

Order of the Pollution

Control Board

(Board), the Petitioner herein

filed its

amended petition for variance on June

17,

1975.

The petition remains insufficient

in that Petitioner

fails

to specify the alternatives

it has

in the event Lewis

University fails

to complete negotiations with Romeoville

for connection with Romeoville’s south sewage treatment

plant.

Therefore

it

is the Order of the Board that Petitioner

amend its petition for variance within

45 days of the adop-

tion of this Order.

Said amendment should contain a copy of

Petitioner’s contract with Lewis University.

In

addition

Petitioner must

file a more detailed compliance

plan enum-

erating its alternatives

in the event the Romeoville con-

nection does not materialize.

Failure

to timely file the

needed information shall cause the petition

to be dismissed

for inadequacy.

The 90-day decision period set by statute

shall run from the date of filing of the second amended

petition.
