ORDER OF THE BOARD (by C.A. Manning):
This matter comes before the Board on a joint motion filed on February 3, 1997 to
further stay the proceedings in this matter. On December 5, 1996 the Board granted the
parties’ request for a stay in the proceedings until February 3, 1997. The parties jointly
request that this matter be stayed for yet another 60 days to allow further negotiation of the
currently pending stipulation and proposal for settlement.
At this time, the Board grants the parties’ request for stay. The Board notes that it has
received several such requests for stay filed in this matter and anticipates that the parties will
expeditiously resolve their differences rather than requesting another stay in the future. The
Board enters a stay in this matter for 60 days, until April 7, 1997.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
Board member Kathleen M. Hennessey abstained.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that
the above order was adopted on the _____ day of ___________, 1997, by a vote of
______________.
