IN THE MATTERS OF
NOISE POLLUTION CONTROL REGULATIONS
)
R72-2
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE NOISE
)
R76-14
REGULATIONS,
RULES 101 AND 206
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr. Goodman):
On July 15,
1976, the Petitioners-Appellants
in Appeal
No.
73-292, an appeal from the adoption of the Noise Regulations,
and the Proponents
in R76-14, a proposal to
amend
Rules
101
and 206 of the Noise Regulations,
filed a Motion for Stay of
Rule 206 Pending Proceedings
to Amend Rules 101 and 206.
The
Board finds that the reasons stated in the instant Motion do
not warrant granting such an extraordinary remedy as the
stay
of
a regulation pending the outcome of a proposed amendment.
The Motion for Stay is, therefore,
denied.
