ORDER OF THE BOARD (by T.E. Johnson):
On December 23, 2002, the parties timely filed a joint notice to extend the 35-day period
within which Chicago Fire Brick Company (Fire Brick) may appeal a November 13, 2002
determination of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency).

P.A. 92-0574, eff. June 26, 2002; 35 Ill. Adm. Code 105.406. The
Agency denied part of Fire Brick’s request for reimbursement from the Underground Storage
Tank Fund regarding a leaking underground storage tank site at 7531 South Ashland in Chicago,
Cook County. The Board extends the appeal period until March 18, 2003, as the parties request.
