ORDER OF THE BOARD

On December

6,

1977 Petitioner requested a variance from

the water quality standard for total dissolved solids contained

in Rule 203 of Chapter

3: Water Pollution of the Board’s Rules

and Regulations.

The petition is inadequate

in two respects.

First,

it fails to assess the environmental impact of this

variance as required by Procedural Rule 401(a) (7).

Second,

it fails to specifically waive or request a hearing as re-

quired by Procedural Rule 401(b).

If these deficiencies are

not corrected within 45 days of the date of this Order,

this

matter will be subject to dismissal.
