ORDER OF THE BOARD (by Mr. Dumelle):

On February 21, 1978 Petitioner requested a Variance

from particulate standards of the Board’s Air Pollution

Control Regulations. The Petition is insufficient for

the following reasons: First, it fails to specify the

regulation from which relief is sought as required by

Procedural Rule 401(a) (1) Second, it fails to assess

the environmental impact of the requested relief as re-

quired by Procedural Rule 401(a) (7) Third, it fails to

specifically request or waive a hearing as required by

Procedural Rule 401(b), If these inadequacies are not

corrected within 45 days of the date of this Order, this

matter will be subject to dismissal.
