ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr. Young):
On May 1,
1978,
a Petition for Variance was
filed by
the Village of Hanover Park.
The Petition is inadequate
for it fails
to give a clear and complete statement of the
relief sought as required by Rule 401(a) (1).
The Board
will not consider a Petition for Variance from the provisions
of the Water Quality Standards of Chapter
3:
Water Pollution
Regulations unless the Petition makes specific reference
to
those Board rules which are necessary
for relief.
The Peti-
tion also fails
to assess the environmental impact of this
variance and does not include the water quality data of the
West Branch of the DuPage River as required by Rule 401 (a) (7),
Petitioner will be granted
45 days from the date of this
Order
to amend the Petition or it will be dismissed
as inade-
quate.
The 90-day statutory ceriod will begin
to run on the
filing of the Amended Petition.
