ORDER OF THE BOARD

(by Mr. Goodman):

On August 25,

1978,

the Park Ridge Park District (Park

District)

submitted a Petition for Variance before the Board.

The Board finds the Petition to be inadequate in that it

requests

a permanent variance, which is beyond the authority

of

the

Board to grant,

and

contains no compliance plan.

Furthermore,

the Park District asserts that it does not

violate the rules from which it seeks a variance and there-

fore has not established that a variance

is necessary.

The

Petition for Variance

is hereby dismissed.
