INTERIM ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr. Dumelle):
On June
22,
1978 the Board accepted a stipulation
in EPA v.
Village of Camp Point, PCB 77-210, which required,
inter alia,
that
Petitioner apply
for a variance from Rule 602(b)
of Chapter
3:
Water Pollution of the Board’s Rules and Regulations.
On September
14,
1978 Petitioner requested such a variance.
On October
12,

the Agency recommended that a variance be granted for two years.
Neither the Petitioner nor the Agency has assessed the environ-
mental effects of the requested relief.
In addition the Board has
not been advised of any hardship which would be incurred if this
variance
is denied.
Consequently
if these deficiencies are not
corrected by the parties
by November
30,
1978 this matter will be
subject to dismissal.
