PROPOSED ORDER OF THE BOARD

The Board hereby proposes that the definition of “disaster”

and “disaster area”

in Rule 501 of the Air Pollution Control

Regulations be amended to read as follows:

“(1) Disaster:

A major disaster declared by the President

of the United States or the Governor of Illinois.

(j)

Disaster area:

Area

in which a major disaster has

been declared by the President of the United States

or the Governor of Illinois.”

Written comments on this proposal will be accepted for

sixty days.
